  I called Simons to inquire about selling a nice bedroom set that I wanted to sell. Whoever answered the phone told me to send an email with pictures. I did but didn't hear back. I stopped in shortly thereafter and apparently he had no idea what I was talking about but then found the email with the pictures. He offered me $500 for the set which I didn't say yes or no to. I called him about 2 weeks later and left a message but no response so I stopped in again. He said that he wanted to come to the house to see it so we set an appointment for 10 AM on Sat. 10:05 I called him since he wasn't there yet. He was still at the office and sounded like I caught him off guard. I don't think he remembered but he said he was really busy and that he was on his way. He came out, looked at it and said he'd get back to me later that day with a price. He never called so I called him Wed asking him what was going on and he said that he was busy and he'd get back to me in an hour. Never got back to me. On Friday, I sold the set on Craigslist for more than he offered. I understand people get busy but the reliability on Simon was less than stellar and my experience with the store wasn't a very good one. If he did or didn't want the set, just say so rather than leading customers on a goose chase.

  Great experience here. They did not follow us or hound us to buy stuff like most other places, and we got a Wonderful table that the price included the 6 chairs plus the leaf for a quarter of the price from other consignment shops! Thank you so much Simon's!!
